Safa truly loves animals and has a wealth of experience with a wide variety of them. She grew up in Robbinsville and we first encountered Safa when she shadowed the technicians at Princeton Animal Hospital as a high school student. She is now back with us as a technician herself but in between high school and present day, Safa studied abroad in Belize where she learned about large animal and wildlife veterinary medicine and worked alongside doctors at the Belize Zoo and farms throughout the country.
Currently Safa is a senior at Rutgers University on the pre-vet path. She also volunteers at both EASEL animal shelter and at a therapeutic horseback riding farm for people with disabilities. So, she keeps very busy but when she’s not working, going to school or volunteering, Safa enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, baking, watching movies and picking up new hobbies. She has one cat named Luna who likes sitting on cardboard boxes and papers.
When asked why she likes working at Princeton Animal Hospital, Safa said, “I love working at PAH because of how welcoming and encouraging the team is. There are so many opportunities to learn and grow at this hospital! Everyone here goes above and beyond for ensuring the best veterinary care. We feel lucky to have Safa as part of our team!
