Pamela Gonzalez
Dr. Gonzalez graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2026. Her journey into veterinary medicine began in 2017 while working as a kennel assistant. One memorable experience involved helping a dog with a painful tail wound. Seeing the dog transform from fearful and defensive to loving and happy once her pain was relieved left a lasting impression and showed Dr. Gonzalez the incredible difference compassionate veterinary care can make.
Dr. Gonzalez is especially passionate about client communication and enjoys surgery. Building relationships with pet owners and helping them feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their pets’ care are important parts of her approach to veterinary medicine. She feels fortunate to work alongside a team of patient, knowledgeable, and compassionate doctors who share a commitment to providing excellent care.
At home, Dr. Gonzalez has Goose, a mixed-breed spayed female dog whose silly personality certainly lives up to her name! Outside of the hospital, she enjoys playing pickleball, riding bikes, discovering new restaurants, and exploring coffee shops throughout Philadelphia.
A fun fact about Dr. Gonzalez is that veterinary medicine wasn't always the original plan! During her undergraduate studies, she once dreamed of becoming a primatologist and researched capuchins, owl monkeys, and howler monkeys.
Dr. Gonzalez brings a love of animals, a passion for connecting with clients, and a commitment to compassionate care to the veterinary team every day.
