Lee R.

Lee joined our Princeton Animal Hospital team in April 2021, and we are so pleased about that!

Lee grew up in a large family and comes from a small town in northern West Virginia. When they moved to New Jersey, they decided to leave the human medical field and try the veterinary field - both because of their love of animals and to expand their knowledge about pets and their health care needs. Lee has three pets:  Meliodas (Meli) a 1.5yr Yorkie who loves going on long walks/hikes, meeting new people, chasing birds, and taking up as much space as possible in the bed, Fenrir (Fenny) a 1.5yr black cat whose favorite spot is at the top of the cat tree where he gets to look out the window and nap in the sun, and Bartholomew (Bart) a cat who loves nothing more than to eat as much as possible and sleep the day away.

Lee moved to the area during the pandemic so opportunities to volunteer have been slim, but in the past, they have enjoyed donating to animal rescues, environmental and ocean conservation organizations, LGBTQIA+ and mental health charities, and groups that assist veterans. Lee officially became a member of the American Legion in 2020, where their parents are active

Members.

When not working, Lee, “likes being outside and enjoying nature, spending time with my pets, traveling to new places or going to visit my family in different parts of the country, playing video games, baking, and spending time with my partner and our friends.”

Lee has found that being a CSR at a busy veterinary hospital like PAH and CCC can be stressful at times but says that, “The level of compassion, understanding, and empathy really helps our team relate to the concerns that our clients have for their pets, and I think that is one of the things that sets us apart from others – it isn’t just a job for us. I’m truly proud and

grateful to have been welcomed into such a positive and committed environment. I look forward to continuing my growth in the practice and becoming an even better asset to the team.”

You can see why we are thrilled to have Lee as part of our team!
