Jamie joined our Princeton Animal Hospital team in February 2021. Jamie is a New Jersey girl - born and raised in Bordentown. She came to work with us because she loves animals and wants to learn more about veterinarian medicine.
Before joining us at Princeton Animal Hospital, Jamie has had lots of interesting school and volunteer experiences. In 2020, Jamie graduated from the University of Vermont with a BS in Animal Science. While in school, Jamie conducted lab research on dairy cows studying how to produce more nutritious milk by altering their diet. In addition to attending school, Jamie has also volunteered with New Jersey Wildlife and Vermont Aquatic Life organizations where she got to work with big cats and sea turtles. She is currently working with us to get more veterinary experience while applying to vet school.
Jamie has one rescue dog from Texas named Quinn who is a black mixed breed. We hear Quinn is, “extremely high energy and always wanting to learn new tricks or play a game!” We also hear she will follow anyone home if they have a treat in their pocket!
When she’s not working, Jamie loves spending time with Quinn, hiking and spending time outdoors.
As an assistant, Jamie jumps in wherever needed - doing everything from walking and feeding boarders, restraining pets during exams, helping keep the hospital clean and caring for patients in any way she can. We are lucky to have Jamie as part of our team at Princeton Animal Hospital.
