Dr. Bishop joined our team in 2019.  She is very focused on preventative health care and has earned her Fear Free Certification from the American Association of Veterinary State Boards.

Dr. Bishop spent time at St. George's, Grenda and learned a great deal volunteering at the free health clinic for companion animals within rural areas of Grenada. She was responsible for the patient intake protocols and procedures, physical examinations, vaccine administration, flea and tick preventative administration, communication and education of basic companion animal care to the owners.  She also volunteered at NICA Vets in Nicaragua, a non-profit spay and neuter program for feral and companion animals within rural areas of Nicaragua, as well as wellness exams of equine patients. Dr. Bishop earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Moravian College. She went on to pursue her DVM degree and is a recent graduate of St. George's University, where prior to that she completed her clinical rotations at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. In her spare time, Dr. Bishop loves to hang out with her large, fun family and friends.
