
Dr. Filos attended Rutgers University, Cook College and received her Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry in 1986. She continued her education at the University of Georgia School of Veterinary Medicine and received her Master's Degree in Renal Physiology in 1988. She went on to attend the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded her Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris degree in 1992.
Dr. Filos is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and is licensed in four states. She has worked in many other practices and has worked with small farm animals, reptiles and birds. She particularly enjoys internal medicine cases and has an interest in kidney disease.
In her free time, Dr. Filos enjoys exercising as much as she can and especially likes running, yoga, rowing and biking with her three children and her husband. The family enjoys going to the beach and traveling. Most of all, she enjoys oil painting and watching her children's games.
