Originally from New York City, Dr. Emily Jarvis completed her undergraduate studies at Cornell University and graduated with a B.S. Degree in Biology in 1990. Following graduation, she remained at Cornell where she continued working toward her veterinary degree. In 1994, after 4 years of veterinary studies, Dr. Jarvis was awarded her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine.
With professional interests in animal behavior, urology and feline medicine, Dr. Jarvis practices general veterinary medicine and surgery at the Princeton Animal Hospital. She has been an associate veterinarian at the hospital since 1994.
Dr. Jarvis' outside activities include walking, biking and singing. She is a member of the Princeton Society of Music and she sings in the Westminster Community Chorus and the Grace St. Paul Church choir. Her pets include 3 cats named Chaos, Oberon and Birnam.
